Qualification & Experience Required for AJK Bank Jobs 2024:-

Database Administrator OG-I/AVP:-

Reporting to the Divisional Head IT
Minimum Bachelor’s degree holder in IT/related discipline/Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years experience in the IT/banking field.
Must have a clear concept of databases
Conversant with structured query language (SQL) and relevant database technologies.
Understand coding and service management (to some degree)
Comprehensive knowledge of banking/banking applications
Good verbal/written communication
Inter-personal and teamwork skills

Jobs Responsibility:-

Performing standard database maintenance and administration tasks.
Developing and configuring tools to enable automation of database administration tasks.
Ensure database security
Managing database integrity.
Monitoring performance statistics and creating reports
Identifying and investigating complex problems/issues and recommending corrective actions
Performing routine configuration, installation, and reconfiguration of database and related products.

Assistant Database Administrator OG-I|/OG-1:-

Reporting to the Divisional Head IT
Minimum Bachelor’s degree holder in IT/related discipline/Engineering from a recognized university
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the IT/banking field.
Must have a clear concept of databases.
Conversant with structured query language (SQL) and relevant database technologies.
Understand coding and service management (to some degree)
Good verbal/ written communication
Inter-personal and team working skills

Job Responsibility:-

Performing standard database maintenance and administration tasks in coordination with DBA.
Assist DBA in developing and configuring tools to enable automation of database administration tasks.
Ensure database security
Ensure database integrity
Assist DBA in monitoring performance statistics and creating reports
Performing routine configuration, installation, and reconfiguration of
database and related products with the help of DBA.

Systems Administrator (OG-I/AVP):-

Reporting to the Divisional Head IT
Minimum Bachelor’s degree holder in IT/related discipline/Engineering from HEC-recognized university Preferable certification MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administration)
Minimum 3 years experience in the IT/banking field
Conversant with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data
backup/recovery
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Problem-solving aptitude
Understand coding and service management (to some degree)
Comprehensive knowledge of banking/banking applications
Good verbal/written communication
Inter-personal and team working skills

Job Responsibility:-

Install and configure software and hardware.
Manage network servers and technology tools.
Set up accounts and workstations.
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT poícies

Assistant Developers or Project Associates for development (OG-III/OG-I):-

Reporting to the PMO Head / Divisional Head IT
Minimum Bachelor’s degree holder in IT/related discipline from a recognized university.
2-3 years’ experience in software development Preferably in banking software.
Good knowledge and awareness of the latest GUI-based development tools
Working knowledge of Oracle/MS SQL databases and ERDs
Well-acquainted with SDLC
Good verbal/ written communication
Must be pleasant, friendly, and communicative with team members

Job Responsibility:-

Supporting roles for software/application designing
Coding and creation of tables under the supervision of his/her senior.
Coordination with users; help them in environment analysis.
Interacting with business users and helping them at stages from compiling users’ requirements to UAT finalization.
Assist Project Managers/Developer in maintaining task charters, and updating the status of projects.
Scheduling project updates, attending stakeholder meetings, and taking notes during meetings.
Writing and distributing project-related messages/communication

AJK Bank Jobs 2024 General Clauses:-

Age:-

For permanent induction: up to 42 years
For contractual induction: up to 57 years

Nationality:-

Pakistani / AJK domicile. AJK State Subjects Shall be given preference.

Knowledge/other Skills/Expertise Preferred:-

Have good communication skills.

In case of the non-availability of suitable candidates of the required domicile, the vacancies will be offered to other selected candidates having domiciles in other Districts. Staff hired for any particular Division will only be placed at any branch of the respective Division/District and shall not be transferred for at least five years out of the Region.
