MBBS Qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Pakistan Medical Commission.
Registered with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council/ Pakistan Medica Commission.
1 year experience of regular house job.

Important Instructions:-
The candidate applying for the post of Medical Officer should have passed their MBBS Examination and should have also completed a one-year house job up to the closing date fixed for submission of online applications to the Punjab Public Service Commission.
Candidates shall produce a certificate of Full Permanent Medical Registration from PMC/PMDe issued on or before the closing date for eligibility of the post. However. it PMDCIPMC Registration Certificates have not been issued so far, will be held eligible subject to the condition that such candidates shall have to produce documentary evidence that they have applied for such registration on or before the closing date.
Candidates who had applied for renewal of their expired registration after the closing date shall also be held eligible.
Provisional PMDC/PMC registration certificate for house job shall not be accepted for eligibility.

Syllabus for Written Examination (MO Medical Officer):-
One paper MCQ Type Written Test of 100 Marks of 90 minutes duration. The Syllabus is as under:-
Qualification-related Questions Approximately: (80%) General ability includes: Approximately : (20%).
General knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.
How many Marks will Pass Candidates according to the PPSC point of view:-
A candidate must obtain 40% marks in a written test to qualify. The qualified candidates will be called for an Interview at the ratio of 1:5 with respect to No. of posts.
Negative Marking will be done and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the MCQ type paper.
