Qualification & Experience Required for WAPDA Careers 2024:-

Auto Mechanic (Petrol):-

EX-NCO (Matric) qualified Mechanic (Petrol) from EME. OR
Matric with 05 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic (Petrol) in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Bodies or a Firm of Repute.

Auto Mechanic (Diesel):-

Ex-NCO (Matric) qualified Mechanic (Diesel) from EME. OR
Matric with 05 years experience as Auto Mechanic (Diesel) in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Bodies or a Firm of Repute.

Driver (LTV):-

The person holding a Light Duty Vehicle license with 05 years of experience after obtaining the License has a Middle qualification. OR
Ex-Army personnel having valid LTV License with 05 years of experience

Driver (HTV):-

The person holding an HTV / PSV License with 05 years of experience after obtaining the License has a Middle qualification. OR
Ex-Army personnel having valid HTV / PSV License with 05 years of experience.

Important Instructions for WAPDA Jobs 2024 / WAPDA Careers 2024:-

The written test shall be conducted by M/s OTS & interview will be conducted by WAPDA.
A general age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the age limit.
03 years of age relaxation shall be admissible to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Communities, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Sindh (Rural), and Balochistan.
The upper age limit is relaxable up to 10 years for Govt. / WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous regular service on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Age will be calculated as of the last date of receipt of applications.
The candidates already serving in WAPDA shall apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit the requisite NOC / permission.
Only children of WAPDA employees are entitled to apply against the quota reserved for WAPDA Employees’ Children. The children of employees of DISCOS, GENCOs, NTDC, etc. are not entitled to apply against the WAPDA Employees Children Quota.
Candidates applying under WAPDA Employee’s Children Quota (ECQ) must submit the following requisite documents at the time of interview: a. Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper from WAPDA Employee and Certificate from the concerned WAPDA office that no son/daughter has already been employed under WAPDA ECQ in the past. b. Documentary proof of employment of Father / Mother in WAPDA.
Govt. employees may apply through the proper channel and submit requisite NOC / permission.
Educational Certificates / Degrees must be verified from HEC Recognized Universities / Concerned Boards / Institutes.
The initial appointment shall be on probation for 01 year and regularization subject to satisfactory performance. However, the services may be dispensed without any notice in case of unsatisfactory work & conduct during the probation period.
The candidates who have been weeded out of service on disciplinary grounds as well as dismissed or debarred for future employment are not eligible to apply.
WAPDA reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason thereof. The number of posts can be decreased or increased during the recruitment process as per the requirement of the department for the selection of suitable candidates.
No TA / DA will be admissible to candidates for test/ interview.
Applications carrying incomplete/incorrect information or received after the last date shall be rejected.
Any information of candidates found bogus at any stage during induction or later in service shall result in termination thereof.

Candidates may visit the M/s OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) for registration and submission of applications within 15 days of publication of the advertisement.
Candidates shall pay a test fee of Rs. 200/- to OTS. Test fee shall be paid in any Branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL on the prescribed Bank Chalan form downloadable from the website: www.ots.org.pk.
Candidate must specify the post against which he/she is applying.
Candidates are required to send a complete prescribed application form along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC and relevant documents/experience certificates, two recent passport size photographs as well as original fee Challan through courier service / Pakistan Post, etc. to; Manager Operations (WAPDA) Open Testing Service, Office No.1. Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
Candidates will be informed through text message by OTS regarding roll no. slips, test centers, test dates, timing, etc.
Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date shall not be entertained.
