For the following open positions, on a deputation basis, under standard terms and conditions, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is seeking qualified, exceptionally talented, and self-motivated regular officers from Ministries, Divisions, Subordinate Offices, Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous Bodies, currently employed in BPS/SPS-18 & 17 who meet the following eligibility requirements.

Who Can Apply

Applications for BISP deputation positions are only accepted from regular government employees of federal, provincial, and autonomous entities. In addition to relevant post-qualification experience in computer science, information technology, or related fields, candidates must hold certifications like Oracle, CCNA, CISSP, CEH, MCSE or CompTIA depending on role.

- A university degree (16 years of education) with a minimum second class, grade “B,” or 2.7/4.0 CGPA IT computer science from HEC ii, an accredited university.
- Five years of experience in the relevant field following qualification.

SOC Manager (Deputy Director) (SPS-18)

- 16 years of education and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, information systems management, engineering (computer science, software engineering, electrical, electronics, or communication), or a similar field.
- 8–10 years of IT/cybersecurity industry experience, at least two to three of those years spent in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Preferred certifications include CCNA, EC Council Incident Handle, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CEH, CSA, CHFI, and CompTIA’s Security+.
Deputy Director (OR. System & Storage) (SPS-18)
- A minimum university degree (16 years of education), second class, grade “B,” or 2.7/4.0 CGPA is required. IT computer science from a university accredited by HEC.
- 7–8 years of experience in the relevant field after qualification.
- Preferred certifications include MCSE, MCP, RHCSA, RHCE, VMWare, DCV, and backup.
Deputy Director (Network Security Specialist)
- Minimum Second Class or Grade ‘B’ or 2.7/4.0 CGPA, with a 16-year degree in Computer Science IT from HEC (SPS-18), an accredited university.
- 7–8 years of experience in the relevant field after qualification.

Assistant Director (Penetration Tester) (SPS-17)
16 years of education with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, electronic systems management, information security, or a similar field; or equivalent.

At least eight (8) years of expertise in web and mobile application vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
Preferred certifications include ISO 27001, OSCP, CEH, CHFI, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, and CGEIT.
System Engineer Assistant Director (SPS-17)
- Posting Location: BISP Headquarters in Islamabad
- A minimum of a second class, grade “B,” or 2.7/4.0 CGPA is required for a 16-year degree in computer science or information technology from a HEC-approved university.
- four to five years of experience in the relevant field after qualification.
- Preferred Certifications: VCP, RHCE, MCSE, and VMware
Network Assistant Director (SPS-17)
- A minimum of a second class, grade “B,” or 2.7/4.0 CGPA, 16 years of teaching experience, and a computer science AT degree from a HEC accredited university are required.
- Two years of experience in the relevant field after qualification.

Terms & Conditions

Only regular government/civil servants employed by autonomous bodies or federal/provincial government organizations at the same BPS/SPS scale.
Experience in the relevant field is a must for the candidates.

Depending on the program’s needs, the number of positions in each category may rise or fall.
