Qualification & Experience Required for Pakistan Railway Careers 2024:-

Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil):-

Bachelor in Civil Engineering duly registered with Pakistan Engineering Council as a Professional Engineer.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in supervision, execution, recording of measurements, monitoring, and controlling of Infrastructure Project (Railways / Buildings & Roads / Highways, etc.) related activities.
Must be well conversant with Quality assurance and Quality Control and supervision practices being followed on Projects to ensure the quality of work.
Preference shall be given to the candidates who are well conversant in MS Project or Primavera and planning tools and techniques.

Office Superintendent:-

Qualified as a Graduate, preferably in Public Administration OR computer science. Qualification will be relaxed in case of experience of more than 15 years in projects.
Must have a minimum 04-years of Post qualification experience in the capacity of Office Superintendent / Administrative Officer and be able to maintain the project record and correspondence, record keeping, and assistance in the works assigned by the Project Directorate from time to time.
Must be Computer literate and well conversant with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, etc.) have a good typing speed, and be able to prepare the progress reports and presentations as required from time to time.

Computer Operator:-

Qualified as Bachelor or IT Diploma holder.
Preference shall be given to the incumbent who has a Bachelor / Graduate or Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science.
Reasonable knowledge of Computer hardware and software and ability to install and run Operating Systems and applications e.g. M/S Windows, MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
Having a minimum 03-years of Post post-qualification experience as a Computer Operator in any reputable organization.

UDC:-

Must have qualified FA/F. Sc in Second Division.
Must have a minimum 05-years of Post qualification experience of working as a Cleric/record keeper in any reputable organization preferably on the project.
Must have experience in record keeping, receipt & dispatch of DAK, and maintenance of relevant registers and files, etc.
Computer literate with certification in MS Office shall be preferred.

Bride Inspector:-

Must be qualified as DAE (Civil).
Must have a minimum 06-years of Post-post-qualification experience in Supervision, execution, inspection, and testing of infrastructure works e.g. Bridges and Culverts, etc.
Must be able to use survey instruments e.g. Total Station OR Theodolite OR level machine etc. and have a good command over survey works including leveling, layout and alignment, etc.
Must be familiar with the measurement of payable items and their recording in the measurement books.
Must be able to read and interpret the construction drawings and layout on the ground.
Must be able to prepare shop drawings and bar bending schedules.

Signal & Telecom Inspector:-

Must be qualified as DAE (Electrical/Electronic).
Must have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in the supervision and execution of Railway Signaling works.
Must be able to prepare the drawings of yards and interlocking and signaling arrangements.

Pakistan Railway Careers 2024 Salary Packages –

Salary will be on a project pay scale basis.

Important Instruction for Pakistan Railway Careers 2024:-

The selected candidate has to serve at Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and the site of the Project as per the project requirements at the concerned station and no request for posting to other stations will be entertained.
The appointment shall be purely on a contract basis for one year subject to successful completion of the probation period of 6 months. The contract period will include the probationary period and the contract may be extended for another two tenures of one year each or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
The candidates serving in Government-semi government or autonomous institutions should route their applications through proper channels along with a departmental No Objection Certificate.
Preference shall be given to those candidates having experience of work in Public Sector organization.
