Education & Experience:-

Assistant Private Secretary:-

• B.A/B.Sc. 2nd Class from a recognized University with a minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 50 w.p.m. in typing Certificate in Microsoft Office & Internet (e-mail) etc + proficiency in computer usage.
• Note: Preference will be given to the qualification in the subjects of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, and Political Science.

Foreman (Mechanical):-

• DAE (Mechanical) from a recognized institute + 03 years of service as Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) / Workshop Supdt. in a Power House.

High-Pressure Welder:-

• DAE (Mechanical) Tech. (Specialization in Metallurgy and Welding) + 05 years experience in relevant field. OR
• DAE (Mechanical) + 05 years experience as Low Pressure Welder. OR
• Post Matriculate G-Il Level / 2-year Vocational trade certificate as Welder from any recognized Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Board (TTB) + 06 year’s experience in the relevant field, Proficiency / Skill Test will be applicable.

Assistant Foreman (Electrical):-

• DAE (Electrical) from a recognized institute + 03 years experience as Jr. Technician (Electrical) / AC, Winder, Cable Jointer) in a Power House.

Stenographer Gr-ll:-

• 2nd Class Graduation from a recognized university and test will be conducted with the following
• Proficiency in MS Office. Speed of 40 w.p.m in typing. Certificate in Microsoft Office and Internet (e-mail) etc plus proficiency in Computer usage. DAE (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) from a recognized Institute.

Attendant:-

• DAE (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) from a recognized Institute.

Line Superintendent Grade-Il:-

• Matric with 03 years Diploma in a relevant field from Government Poly Technical Institute or equivalent qualification

Jr. Technician (Mechanical):-

• 02 years Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Technology from a recognized Institute + 03 years relevant experience.

Tumer:-

• Post Matriculate G-Il Level/2 years vocational trade certificate as “Machinist” from any recognized Board of Technical Education/ Trade Testing Board (TTB) + 01 year’s relevant experience. OR
• Post Matriculate G-Ill Level / 1-year Vocational Trade Certificate as Machinist from any recognized Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Board (TTB) with 2 years relevant experience. OR
• Matriculate plus 06 months course certificate as a Machinist from any recognized Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Board (TTB) with 04 years of relevant experience. OR
• Matriculate plus equivalent PRL (Recognition of Prior Learning) from a recognized institute + 04 years of relevant experience. Proficiency / Skill Tests will be applicable.

Jr. Clerk cum Computer Typist:-

• HSSC / Intermediate / I.Com with at least 2nd Division. 40 w.p.m typing speed on PC.
• Certificate (at least 3 months) MS Office from any Institute / Organization.

Crane Operator:-

• Matriculate plus 06 months course of “Heavy Machine Operator OR
• Matriculate plus equivalent PRL (Recognition of Prior Learning) + Certified Crane Operator from any reputed company + 03 years of relevant experience. Proficiency / Skill Tests will be applicable.

Cook:-

• Middle with 03 years of experience in a restaurant/hotel / Govt. Institution.

Assistant Station Attendant:-

• Matric with Science at least 60% Marks.

Assistant Lineman:-

• Matric

Important Instruction:-

• Applicants are advised to read the following before filling out the prescribed application form instructions carefully available on the M/s OTS website (https://ots.org.pk/. The advertisement is also available on WAPDA’s website (www.wapda.gov.pk).
• The written test shall be conducted by M/s OTS & interview will be conducted by WADA.
• A general age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the age limit. 03 years of age relaxation shall be admissible to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Communities, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir. 03 years of age relaxation shall also be admissible to candidates belonging to Sindh (Rural) and Balochistan for the posts of BPS-15 & below only.
• 10 years of age relaxation shall be admissible to disabled persons applying against the disabled quota.
• The upper age limit is relaxable up to 10 years for Govt. / WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous regular service on the closing date of receipt of applications.
• Age will be calculated as of the last date of receipt of applications.
• The candidates already serving in WAPDA shall apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit the requisite NOC / permission.
• Only children of WAPDA employees are entitled to apply against the quota reserved for WAPDA Employees’ Children. The children of employees of DISCOs, GENCOs, NTDC, etc. are not entitled to apply against the WAPDA Employees Children Quota.
• Govt. employees may apply through the proper channel and submit requisite NOC permission.
• Educational Certificates / Degrees must be verified from HEC Recognized Universities / Concerned Boards / Institutes. Original documents shall be presented by the candidates at the time of the interview. The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of 01 years and regularization subject to satisfactory performance.
• The candidates who have been weeded out of service on disciplinary grounds as well as dismissed or debarred for future employment are not eligible to apply.
• WAPDA reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• No TA / DA will be admissible to candidates for test/interview.
