Qualification, Experience, Domicile, and Eligibility Required:-

Project Director:-

18 years of education in Agriculture Engineering/ Water Resource Eng needing Water Resource Management from a recognized University.
Should have 5 years experience as Project Director/ Project Manager in development projects related to farm water management or water resource management agriculture Engineering or irrigation & drainage when leadership quality to run foreign-funded mega projects.
Proven experience of at least 20 years working in projects related to on-farm water management or water resource management Agni Engineering or irrigation & drainage with leadership quality to run foreign-founded mega projects.

Deputy Project Director (HEIS & Solar):-

Master’s degree in agricultural Engineering/ water engineering and management Irrigation Engineering Agriculture or equivalent with a minimum 2nd division.
Proven post qualification relevant experience of 15 years in ADPI/donor Funded Projects.
Proven expertise in the implementation of agriculture development and water projects, especially in high-efficiency irrigation systems.
Familiar with the project development & implementation policies and guidelines of donors World Bank and the government
Experience in preparing annual plans/ operational documents/ business plans envisaging physical scope and financial implications for HEIS & solar systems
Ability to work with closely farmers/ farming community for community watercourse Improvement and OFWM works
Experience in attending and presenting in high-level project meetings
Experience in working with the donor. funded projects will be preferred
He will be responsible for implementing the HEIS & Solar Component of the project under the supervision of the PD.

Audit Taxation Specialist:-

Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance/ ACMA Audit & or Taxation / ACCA equivalent from НЕС recognized University with a minimum 2nd division.
At least five (05) years post-qualification relevant experience preferably in a public sector well-reputed charted accountant firm.
Familiar with Audit management in the government sector having experience in internal audit, external audits, tax management, contract, etc.
Ability to handle Audit and taxation issues by the guidelines/policies/ procedures and donor World Bank keeps observations record of their audit observations and their disposal settlement on time.
Sufficient knowledge of tax policies and experience of working sector/ supplier with private
firms/ contracting ete

Horticulture Expert:-

Master’s degree in horticulture agri marketing/ Agri-Business Development / Agriculture value chain/ agriculture Engineering with a minimum 2nd division.
Proven post-qualification experience of eight years in horticulture agriculture marketing agribusiness development, and agriculture value chain regenerative agriculture.

Agricultural Communication Specialist:-

Master’s degree in mass communication journalism/ Media university with a minimum 2nd division.
At least five years post post-qualification experience in the relevant field
Ability to design and develop a high-quality project communication strategy including all means of communication to disseminate project objects and goals.
Experience in implementing communication strategies in development projects.

Horticulture Expert:-

Master’s degree in gender studies social work / public policy development studies or related discipline from a HEC recognized university with a minimum 2nd division.
Proven post-qualification relevant experience of five years. females candidates will given preference.
Able to provide technical guidance or support the identification of relevant gender-related actions and ensure their compliance.

Assistant Director (Technical):-

Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Water Engineering and Management / Irrigation Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 2nd division.
Proven post-qualification relevant experience of five years in ADP donor-funded projects.
Familiar with the project development and implementation policies and guidelines of doner World Bank and the government.
Experience in working on donor-funded projects will be preferred.

Salary Package for Punjab Agriculture Department Jobs 2024:-

Project Director:

Project pay scale 12 @ Rs. 6,00,000 per month with annual increment.

Deputy Project Director (HEIS & Solar):-

Project pay scale 11 c Rs. 450.000 per with annual increment.

Audit Taxation Specialist:-

Project pay scale 9 @ Rs. 250,000 with increment.

Agricultural Communication Specialist:-

Horticulture Expert:-

рroject Pay scale 9 @ Rs. 250,000 with annual increment.

Assistant Director (Technical):-

рroject Pay scale 9 @ Rs. 175,000 with annual increment.

Important Instructions:-

Relaxation in the upper age limit is not admissible.
In the case of other relevant degrees, the equivalence certificate issued by the HEC/Competent Forum will be provided by the candidate.
Retired Government servants are not eligible. The contract appointments are temporary, non-transferable, job/post specific, non-pensionable & conferring no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be initially for 01 year which can be extended up to the project period with the approval of the competent authority.
In case the project period is reduced/enhanced, a contract appointment order will be amended accordingly with the approval of the competent authority
The recruitments will be made strictly on merit on a Punjab basis by the selection & eligibility criteria approved in the PC-1. applications downloaded from the Punjab. 21-Davis Road, Lahore indicating the post applied for along with curriculum vitae (CV), three passport-size recent photographs, and attested copies of all the relevant documents.
Late and incomplete applications will not be considered and only eligible candidates will be
called for a test/interview. No TA/DA shall be paid.
A list of eligible candidates shall be displayed on the Notice Board 03 days before the interview in addition to the interview call letters, In case of any query/ clarification, the candidate may approach the Additional Secretary (Planning), Government of Punjab, Agriculture Department, Lahore at least two days before the interview date.
The competent authority has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
The selected candidates under the project are not entitled to the benefit of any pay protection and regularization.
