The Special Education Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced the hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) in District Faisalabad. This recruitment is being carried out under Notification No. SO(Estt)3-26/07(3859) dated March 25, 2026, inviting applications from suitable candidates for vacant teaching posts in Special Education institutions of District Faisalabad.

Eligibility Criteria
Both fresh and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, though preference may be given to those with prior teaching experience. Men, women, and transgender persons are all eligible to apply.
Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I)
- Qualification: MA or BS (First Division/Grade-B) in Special Education, with specialization in the field of Physically Disabled or an equivalent qualification, from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
- Age Limit: 21–28 years
Senior Special Education Teacher (H.I) BS-17
- Qualification: MA/M.Ed or BS (First Division/Grade-B) in Special Education, with specialization in the field of deaf or an equivalent qualification, from a university recognized by HEC
- Age Limit: 21–28 years
Terms and Conditions of Engagement
- The engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable.
- The duration shall be 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27, or till the arrival of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
- Monthly honorarium for BS-17 will be Rs. 45,000/- per month, and for BS-16 it will be Rs. 40,000/- per month. No right to regular appointment shall be conferred.
- Performance and attendance shall be strictly monitored by the concerned authorities.
- The engagement may be terminated on one month’s notice or payment in lieu thereof.

Interview Details
Interviews of eligible/shortlisted candidates shall be held on August 31, 2026, at 9:30 AM in the office of the Principal, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School of Special Education for Hearing Impaired, Faisalabad. No separate call letter, SMS, or email shall be issued.

Important Instructions
- The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
- Age relaxation in the upper age limit shall be admissible in accordance with the Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1961, the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976, and instructions issued by the Government of the Punjab from time to time.
