Qualification & Experience Required for KP Police Department CTD Jobs 2024:-
Assistant Director Forensic (Ballistics, Firearms & Tools Marks) (BPS-17):-
- First Class degree of BS/MSc in Forensic Science or Physics or Chemistry or bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university or equivalent relevant qualification.
Assistant Director Forensic (Fingerprint) (BPS-17):-
- First Class degree of BS/MSc in Chemistry or Forensic Science from a recognized university or equivalent relevant qualification.
Assistant Director Forensic (Digital) (BPS-17):-
- First Class degree of BS/MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology or bachelor’s in software or Computer System Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent relevant qualification.
Assistant Director Legal (BPS-17):-
- At least a second-class degree of LLB from a recognized university, having one year of experience in the field of law, with a focus on handling terrorism cases. in an organization and set-up.
Assistant Forensic Scientist (Ballistics, Firearms & Tools Marks) (BPS-16):-
- Second-class Degree in BS Chemistry or bachelors in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university or equivalent relevant qualification.
Assistant Forensic Scientists (Fingerprint) (BPS-16):-
- Second-class Degree in BS Chemistry or Forensic Science from a recognized university or equivalent relevant qualification.
Assistant Forensic Scientists (Digital) (BPS-16):-

- The initial period of the contract will be three (03) years which may be extended subject to the satisfactory Performance Evaluation Reports (PER) for the year preceding the expiry of the contract.
- The cut-off date for the calculation of the upper age limit for recruitment against each post is 15th September 2024.
- Serving Civil Servants, Police Officers, government servants, and Employees of Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous bodies may apply through the proper channels. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department is mandatory.
- Applications for the vacancies shall be accepted only online at our web portal www.ctdkppolice.gov.pk.
- The Web Portal (www.ctdkonolice.cov.ok) will stop accepting applications precisely at 11:59 PM.on Sunday. 20th October 2024.
- Preference shall be given to those who have a degree in forensic sciences in the fields of Ballistics, Firearms & Tools Marks, Fingerprint, and Digital Forensic & Digital extraction from Electronic Devices.
- Only those candidates may be issued Roll Number Slips (admission cards) for the Written Test who have successfully submitted an online application and have received acknowledgment of this effect.
- The date and venue of the Written Test may be conveyed separately through your given email address and WhatsApp Number.
- Only those candidates may be called for Practical Test who secure one of the first one hundred and twenty (120) positions in the Practical Test. The date and venue of the Practical Test may be conveyed separately through your given email address and WhatsApp Number.
- Only those candidates may be called for an Interview who secure the first 60 positions in the Practical Test. Date and Venue of the Interview may be conveyed separately through your given email address and WhatsApp Number.
- The syllabus for the written and practical tests and other useful details about the Forensic Expert’s Selection System (FESS) and the legal expert are available at “CTD Guide” at www.ctdkppolice.gov.pk under the heading “Downloads”. Please don’t miss out on going through the CTD Guide.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the test/interview.
- The Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
